TurboCAD Student Edition - Module ONE has been a huge success, so much that our customers have asked IMSI/Design to take it even further. TurboCAD Student Edition - Module TWO is designed to serve as a comprehensive text for any intermediate or advanced course that is already familiar with 2D functionality and is ready to expand into the world of 3D rendering, photorealism and solid modeling.
Get your students ready tackle any design task by teaching them the fundamental skiils associated with 3D CAD technologies. This module begins with exercises that build into high-end, fully rendered parts and materials.
TurboCAD Pro v9 or higher is required to complete the lessons in this module. TurboCAD is a general, all-purpose CAD program that provides basic mechanical, architectural and artistic tools that's easy to get students started. The powerful high-end tools will exceed the expectations of even the most experienced CAD users, yet simple enough for the novice to learn. It offers precise 2D drafting, complex 3D surface capabilities presented through a familiar Windows interface that makes the design process fast and efficient. TurboCAD is compatible with over 25 file formats, including DXF, AutoCAD DWG and Microstation DGN.
